an association for ocher promotion
Created in France in 1995, Terres et Couleurs is a non-profit organisation whose objective is to promote coloured earths (ochre, sienna, umber, green earth and the like) and to revive the use of these natural mineral pigments. Since its creation, Terres et Couleurs has enlisted over 800 members in France and abroad, including producers and retailers of ochres, architects, craftsmen, researchers and many others.


Discover the last "local colors" event at the city of Carcassonne organized with the center of national monuments. 100 volunteers repainted the woodwork of the castle and the ramparts with ocher.
